Welcome to the School of Business Administration "test" web server.  Students may request space on this server for SBA-related assignments.

• Our server runs IIS 6.0 and FrontPage 2002 server extensions.  You may run ASP on this server and must use Front Page to open and edit your web.

Terms of Use:

1. This web space is maintained for the duration of the semester for which you are in the class, and will be removed afterwards.
2. Your instructor must get permission from the w3 administrator before web spaces will be given for their class. 
3. If you have objectionable material, we will delete it without notice.
4. There are instructions listed below.  If you are having problems, please follow the directions BEFORE asking for help.  If you are still having problems, please send a detailed message of the steps you are using to kmbrubak@oakland.edu.
5. We DO NOT support FTP to this server.  See Microsoft KB Article 293512
6. We WILL NOT create DSN's.  You should use a DSN-less connection string.  An example is available below.

Where to Start:

• Request Web Space for a class
• Open your web
  • File->Open Site
    You must type in the entire URL including the http://
    Example: http://w3.sba.oakland.edu/yoursite
• Add files (Import)
• Make a database connection
